The Nothing But Tires system is an expansive digital development project that has gradually grown over time. At its core it is a data driven web application used to store and manage thousands of inventory items. The storage system operates within the warehouse with a mobile application that uses laser scanning technology. This storage aspect integrates with a custom build point of sales system. Early in the project Nothing But Tires knew they wanted to find a long term development partner that was based in Canada. Our business values aligned and our shared objective to enable scalable growth for the Nothing But Tires brand has continually driven us to push the boundaries of the good-used tire market.
Going fully paperless was a driving force behind this project. That and ditching the reliance on human error prone spreadsheets. In order to reduce the dependancies on these two factors a complete digitization of the Nothing But Tires process was required. Everything from inventory processing to online sales has been converted to a digital process that is auditable and secure.
A unique industry often requires a custom solution and a creative approach to problem solving. For these reasons, the Nothing But Tires E-Commerce platform was built using Laravel and Vue. The combination of these open source technologies allowed our team to create an online experience for customers that did not neglect any of the specific requirements of the Nothing But Tires process.
